I’m Ashley Reed — a self-taught artist based in Portland Oregon, and a lover of all things creative. I started SUCCUBUS Skateboards out of the same fierce love and restless expression that skate culture has shown me over the decades. Skateboarding has taught me how to move, how to fall, how to rise and shaped the art I make.

The boards, these designs, this movement is for anyone who’s been told they don’t belong, and for everyone who’s tired of shrinking to fit someone else’s expectations. I’ve seen judgment, rumors, and favoritism show up where they don’t belong especially when it comes to sexuality, race, and gender. That stops here.

My work is for people who want to skate without permission and feel safe, comfortable, and free. I design for dreamers and for anyone who wants to claim their own voice. I want you to enjoy my art, but more importantly, to be inspired to create your own because YOU matter!
